Institutional Development

Institutional Development is another functional area of ABANTU. In order to achieve strong and effective corporate and institutional structures and systems, as well as strengthen staff capacity and knowledge for leading the change process both in the organisation and the wider society, ABANTU strives to incorporate the following into its core business:

• Effective Staff Development Initiatives
• Strong governance structure, with an experienced and effective Board of Directors
• Sound Administrative and Financial Management Procedures
• Development of stragetic and annual work plans
• Monitoring and review workshops held on quarterly basis
• Feedback from partners as well as participants at workshops and other activities
• Programme evaluation conducted by independent/external evaluators
• Building and maintaining effective networks and collaborations in Ghana and around the world
• Compliance with legal, financial and accounting regulations in Ghana and as they relate to our donor and other partners
