--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beatrice Adjetey

Miss Beatrice Adjetey is a 42 year Presbyterian woman who teaches Ga a Ghanaian language at Presbyterian Secondary School-Osu located at kuku Hill a suburb of Accra. She is a Ga with three dependents and started her teaching career in 1994.

She shared that during her final year at the secondary school the father advised her to finish once and for all meaning should stop playing and concentrates on her academics which have really helped her in life. On this ground she wants the student body to be serious with their academic work to pass out well without relying on rewriting or remedial classes.

Madam Beatrice completed the University of Education Winneba with a bachelor of education degree in Ga in the year---------.She was the school prefect of ------------------------------- middle school from---------and at Ola training College in ------------ she was also the house prefect for--------- house. She is the parent teachers’ association secretary and a member of the chaplaincy board of Osu –Presec and a presbyter in her local church.

She said students have access to good conditions of study but refuse to utilize them to the maximum while most do not follow instructions given by teachers hence serving as some of the challenges in her work.

She suggested that students should think of where they are coming from (background) and not to follow the crowd in doing certain things concluding that they should not wait to “hit the wall” before regretting their actions or deeds.

She generally admires the way people advise her to move on in life.

Miss Adjetey is someone who wants to strive hard to achieve higher ground thus planning to take a second degree in-----------------------.She therefore wants Ghanaian women to strive hard to be above the men thereby bringing a little support to the home. They should also not be satisfied with their present situation but strive to be above or achieve more.
